Privacy Policy

Workflow Converter ("we", "us") lets you convert workflow automation files between n8n, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Make. This policy explains what information we actually process, why, and where it goes — see our Security page for the underlying detail this policy summarizes.
The short version
Converting a workflow using the free, basic conversion happens entirely in your browser — we never receive that file. We only collect account details (if you sign up), billing details (handled by Stripe, not stored by us), and, if you choose to run and save a paid "Pro" AI-assisted conversion, the specific step(s) sent to our AI provider and the result you asked us to save.
Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we (via Supabase, our authentication provider) store your email address and an identifier for how you signed in (password, Google, or emailed one-time code). We never see or store your password ourselves.
Billing information. If you buy conversion credits, checkout happens on Stripe's own hosted page — we never receive or store your card details. We keep a Stripe customer ID and a ledger of credits purchased and spent.
Workflow content — basic conversion. Converting between n8n, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Make using the free conversion tool happens entirely in your browser. The file you paste or upload is parsed and converted locally; it is never transmitted to our servers, logged, or stored.
Workflow content — Pro conversion. Pro conversion is a paid, opt-in feature. When you run one, we send the specific workflow step(s) our rule-based engine couldn't map — plus the overall structure of your workflow — to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude model we use) to generate a suggested fix. We do not send your entire file, only the parts needed to produce a suggestion. Consistent with Anthropic's standard API terms, this data is not used to train their models. If you choose to save a Pro conversion result to your account, we store the converted output, the manual-review report, and the AI suggestions under your account, protected by database access controls that restrict it to you.
Please don't paste real secrets. The converter never invents or copies credential references into its output — those are always replaced with a placeholder you're asked to reconnect manually. But if a file you paste already contains a literal secret (an API key hardcoded into a URL or header, for example), that value is part of the file's content. If it happens to sit inside a step you send for Pro conversion, it will reach Anthropic like any other field value, and will be stored if you save the result. Treat any credentials in your source files as needing rotation after using this tool, and where possible, remove hardcoded secrets before converting.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide the conversion service, process payments, secure accounts, respond to support requests, and detect abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or third-party marketing.
Cookies
We use a single functional cookie set by Supabase to keep you signed in. We do not run analytics, advertising, or session-recording scripts of any kind on this site.
Sharing with service providers
We share information with three subprocessors, each described in more detail on our Security page:
- Anthropic — processes the specific step data described above, only when you run a Pro conversion.
- Supabase — hosts our authentication system and application database.
- Stripe — processes payments; card details never pass through our servers.
International transfers
Our subprocessors may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers publish for cross-border transfers (such as standard contractual clauses).
Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting purposes. Saved Pro conversion results are kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove them — email hello@workflowconverter.com and we'll delete them; there's no self-service delete button yet.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@workflowconverter.com.
Children
This Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
